Panchakarma Treatment

Panchakarma is a traditional Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation therapy that cleanses the body of accumulated toxins while restoring balance to the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.

The term "Panchakarma" translates from Sanskrit as "five actions," referring to its primary procedures:

  • ABHYANGAM: Application of oil and massage all over the body , which relaxes and tones up the muscles and body
  • VASTI (ENEMA): Treatments are extremely effective in removing Vata-based toxins from the system. There are two Vasti treatments - Niruha Vasti and Anuvasana Vasti - that are administered according to the patient's body condition and treatment requirements
  • Vamana: Vamana is a procedure in which Doshas (waste products or toxins) are eliminated through upper channels i.e. mouth.
  • SWEDANAM: There are many procedures in Swedanam which are done according to the patients condition. Use of kizhi a bolus filled with herbal ingredients which relieves pain, stiffness, numbness, prevents ageing and improves the quality of skin, reduces body weight, restores shines and lusture.
  • NASYAM: Ayurvedic considers nostrils to be the doorway to the brain. Nasyam (Errhine Therapy) is a very powerful rejuvenative Panchakarma therapy that involves administering of medicated herbal oils through the nose.
